(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The University of Westminster and Exeter are about to compile different ideas and view points of Islamic figures around the Britain and publish it.
In this project titled “ internalizing Islam in Britain “ ۳۰ Islamic figures propose their ideas and credos in different realms and discuss with each other.
This project consists of four main topics: People and Society, Family and Education, Gender Equality, Gender Identity and Political Presence.
The report of the discussion will be provided online for people on the internet and those interested can download the file of report on June for free.
It is worth mentioning that street exhibitions will be held around the Britain as one part of the project.
This project is about to fight with any extremist view points around the country.
Head of the Islamic study center and the director of the project, Yaser Soleiman said,” this movement is the second level of the project, the main project was done in ۲۰۰۹ and gathered many Muslim figures with different backgrounds together. These people worked with each other and have rational view point about the problems.
When the project is finished, we will gather the results around the country. We hope that each members of the project be able to speak as a representative of their community.
The framework of this year project is like the previous ones. Cambridge University will hold four special Seminars and invite an observer committee for each of the Seminar.
In each Seminar ۱۰ to ۱۵ questions about challenging issues will be proposed. Among these questions we can point to some questions like “how should Britain Muslims face with social issues? Should these issues be ignored?
The final report with all the details and also the list of participants will be published in June by the University of Cambridge.
